Zombicide 3: Rue Morgue – You Must Join or Die

Humankind continues to suffer zombie punishment with Zombicide 3: Rue Morgue, which offers exciting new dimensions to this super-popular board game first introduced a few years back. Yes, the human race is being punished for its crimes against nature and for inadvertently having created the living, walking nightmare that is the zombie horde.

Survivors have no choice but to suffer the collective punishment brought on by scientists…it’s fight or die and if you think the feeling of fight or flight can’t be replicated in a board game, you haven’t tried any of the Zombicide games.

Greater Rewards = Greater Risks

This is about Zombicide 3, which takes place in a destroyed hospital which is deliciously full of food, supplies, weapons and medicine…but also perhaps chock full of zombies. Greater rewards come with greater risks, and that’s kind of the theme with Zombicide 3.

It’s a theme borrowed from the original Zombicide and which continues throughout every version of the game: the more experience a survivor gains, the more danger he or she will attract. As a Survivor, you start off with zero experience and gain points when you kill zombies. The mightier the zombie you kill, the more experience points you gain, and that makes you more powerful.

But with power comes risk…zombies will hear you as you tear through rotting zombie flesh, so every murdering spree turns into a beacon which summons even more zombies to you area. Your experience-o-meter is also your danger-o-meter.

Greater Rewards = Greater Risk

Things are getting pretty hairy for Survivors since they now face danger from each other. So, while they’ve survived until now, life doesn’t get any easier. You see, this new edition takes place several months after Zombicide 2: PrisonBreak. This changes things in ways nobody could ever have imagined and it’s based on the darker side of human nature.

Zombie-Shredding excitement + Creepy, Dark Side of Human Nature = Zombicide 3
